The night before the Top 12 were revealed on the show, Chris had a disturbing dream.
She was stuck in some kind of weird community where you couldn't leave unless the higher ups allowed you to. The others in the community said that if you were chosen you would be set free. Chris knew better. If you were chosen, you were more likely killed than set free.
Chris had one friend in this place. One stupid friend, and it wasn't me. This dude had the bright idea to set off a bomb. Chris begged him not to, but he did anyway. The higher ups came for him and as they dragged him away he said he would see her soon.
'No, you won't. They're going to kill you,' she said.
'I know, I'll see you soon,' he replied. She shook her head. No, he won't. I'm not planning on dying. Well, we all know how dreams work.
Yep, the higher ups picked her next. Luckily, she had a knife to protect herself, but she gave it away when they told her she didn't need it. The lead higher up laughed.
'You didn't actually have to give it to us.' She reached into the bucket to retrieve the knife, but it was gone, replaced with a tampon. The higher ups began to beat her up. She got a few decent shots in, including stabbing the leader in the eye with the tampon, before they got the best of her and the alarm clock went off.
Now I know you're asking 'What the HELL does that have to do with The Voice results or being psychic?!?!?!' Hold your horses. I'm getting there.
Who was the stupid friend? None other than James David Carter (Team Blake)...
And who was the Leader of the Higher Ups? Mister Blake Sheldon himself... the one who ended James run on The Voice. Chris will miss you JDC.
The following statement is from Chris on losing James: The love of my life, who's name ends with Carter and starts with James with a middle name I can't remember, you will be missed.
Team Pharrell - Lukilious, DaNica, & Sugar Jones. (Goodbye Jean Kelley. I thought you were awesome. I'll miss you. Elyjuh, on the other hand...not so much.)
Team Gwen - Anita and Taylor were shoo in's, but were kind of thrown off when Gwen picked boy band material, Ryan, to save. Whatever. Chris & I were rooting for the love child of Zac Effron & Robert Pattinson to make it through...I mean Ricky...
Team Adam - Again, Damien and Matt were shoo in's. I thought, for sure, without a doubt, that Mia would round out his team, all because I CAN'T stand her!!! Chris knows how much. Every time they showed her face poor Chris would have to listen to me rattle on or just hear me say UGH! Yeah, every time. I'm not lying. We were stunned when Adam picked the love child of Channing Tatum and Wentworth Miller (from Prison Break).
The other surprise was that Taylor from Adam's team didn't make it to the Top 12 either. He was Chris's leprechaun that she wanted to keep in her pocket because he was so cute.
And there you have it. We somewhat kind of predicted the results for The Voice Top 12. Who was your favorite? Who did you hate to see eliminated? Who were you happy to see advance? Being psychic, we already know, but someone else, who's not psychic, might want to know too.
